gLOGGED Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") govern paid subscriptions to gLOGGED. They supplement and are part of our Terms of Service and incorporate our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms of Service.

PLEASE REVIEW THE AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE IN SECTION 3 AND THE REFUND POLICY IN SECTION 6 BEFORE SUBSCRIBING.


1. Available Tiers

gLOGGED offers the following subscription tiers:

Founder recognition: Users who subscribed during the initial launch period receive a permanent "Founder" badge as a thank-you. The badge is cosmetic and does not confer additional rights.

Feature allocations per tier may change; material reductions in a tier's benefits will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and current subscribers will receive the prior benefits through the end of their then-current term.

If prices in the Service differ from the prices shown at checkout, the checkout price controls.

1.1 Eligibility for Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Champion and Legend) are available only to users who are at least eighteen (18) years old. If you are between 13 and 17, only the free Player tier is available to you; a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older may purchase a Champion or Legend subscription on their own account, but a paid subscription cannot be billed to a minor's account. Gift codes redeemed by a 13–17 user are subject to the same age rules and revert to Player at expiration.


2. Purchasing a Subscription

  • Subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By purchasing, you also accept Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy at https://stripe.com/.
  • You authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees, taxes, and other charges described at checkout.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and current payment information. If a charge fails, we may suspend your subscription access until payment is resolved.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which we or Stripe may calculate and collect based on your location.

3. Auto-Renewal (Important)

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing term (annually for Champion and Legend) until you cancel. By subscribing, you consent to recurring charges to your payment method for the subscription fee at the then-current rate, plus applicable taxes, at the start of each renewal term.

3.1 Reminder Notices

Where required by law (for example, California Automatic Renewal Law, Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600–17606, and similar laws in New York, Illinois, Oregon, Colorado, and elsewhere), we will send a reminder before the renewal charge. You should not rely solely on reminders — you may cancel at any time.

3.2 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. Price changes apply only to renewal terms starting after we give you at least thirty (30) days' written notice (by email to your registered address and/or in-Service notice). If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the renewal date and the new price will not apply.

3.3 Pre-Checkout Disclosure and Consent

Before you confirm payment, checkout will disclose that the subscription renews annually unless cancelled, the renewal price and taxes, the renewal period, the cancellation method, and gLOGGED contact information. We retain verification of your affirmative consent for at least three years, or one year after termination of the subscription, whichever is longer.

3.4 Confirmation of Purchase

After purchase, we send a confirmation email you can retain that includes the renewal terms, cancellation policy, and instructions for online cancellation.


4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription or by emailing support@glogged.com with subject "Subscription Cancellation" from your account's registered email.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Your paid features remain available until the end of that period.
  • Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current period except as provided in Section 6 or as required by law.
  • Cancelling does not close your account. You can also close your account through the Account Settings.

5. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

If we offer a free trial or promotional pricing, the specific terms will be disclosed at enrollment. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Only one free trial or promotional offer is available per user, per payment method, per household.
  • At the end of a free trial, the subscription converts to the paid tier at the standard price and your payment method will be charged. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue.
  • Promotional rates apply for the disclosed period and then revert to the standard price.

6. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except as provided below or as required by applicable law.

6.1 Statutory Rights Not Displaced

  • EU/UK consumers: You may have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchasing a digital service. By starting to use a subscription during this period, you may waive this right in whole or in part under applicable law; any such waiver will be collected at checkout where required.
  • California and other US states: Where state law provides for refund or cancellation rights (including automatic-renewal laws), those rights apply and we will honor them.

6.2 Our Refund Policy

In addition to statutory rights, and as a matter of goodwill:

  • New subscribers: If you are dissatisfied with a first-time annual Champion or Legend subscription, you may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase, provided you have not engaged in abuse of the Service or used substantially all of the subscription benefits. Requests outside this window will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Renewals: Renewal charges are not refundable after the renewal date except as required by law, but you may cancel at any time to avoid future renewals.
  • Service disruptions: If the Service is unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, we may provide a pro-rated credit at our discretion.

7. Gift Codes

We may offer subscription gift codes for purchase as a one-time transaction.

  • Gift codes entitle the recipient to the applicable tier for the disclosed duration (typically 365 days).
  • Gift codes are non-refundable once redeemed and non-transferable once issued to a recipient.
  • An unredeemed gift code may be refundable at our discretion if the purchaser contacts us within thirty (30) days of purchase.
  • Gift codes may not be combined or stacked except as we expressly permit.
  • We may revoke a gift code that was obtained through fraud, chargeback, or violation of these Terms.
  • When a gift-code term ends, the recipient's account reverts to Player (free) unless they subscribe separately.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for all sales, use, value-added, goods-and-services, withholding, and similar taxes associated with your subscription, except for our income taxes. Where required, we or Stripe will calculate and collect applicable taxes.


9. Chargebacks and Failed Payments

If you initiate a chargeback or your payment otherwise fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription and access, and we may prevent you from re-subscribing on the same payment method. If you believe a charge is mistaken, please contact support@glogged.com before initiating a chargeback so we can try to resolve it directly.


10. Term Changes; Discontinuation

We may change or discontinue subscription tiers at our discretion. If we materially reduce the benefits of a tier or discontinue a tier, we will give at least 30 days' notice, and we will provide the prior benefits through the end of your then-current paid term or offer a pro-rated refund.


11. No Ownership in Benefits

Subscriptions grant a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the tier benefits. They do not transfer ownership of any content, feature, badge, or digital item, and they do not create any equity, profit share, or ownership interest in gLOGGED.


12. Termination for Terms Violation

If we suspend or terminate your account for violation of the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, we may terminate your subscription without refund. Minor violations resulting in short suspensions do not automatically void the subscription; serious violations resulting in permanent ban forfeit any remaining subscription value.
