gLOGGED Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: May 1, 2026 Version: 1.0 Last Updated: May 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes technical, security, and integrity rules for using gLOGGED. It is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Service. Content-related rules are in the Community Guidelines. Where the two overlap, the more restrictive applies.
Violations may result in content removal, rate limits, feature restrictions, account suspension, permanent ban, civil liability, and — in appropriate cases — referral to law enforcement.
1. Prohibited Technical Conduct
You may not:
1.1 Unauthorized Automation and Scraping
- Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers, headless browsers, AI agents) to access, collect, index, interact with, or extract data from the Service, except as expressly permitted by us in writing or by a published
robots.txtor sitemap rule. - Access any part of the Service through means other than the user-facing interfaces we provide, unless you have written authorization.
- Mirror, frame, or embed the Service, or substantial portions of it, in another site or application without our written permission. Short-form embeds of your own content that we officially support (e.g., oEmbed where offered) are permitted.
1.2 Circumventing Security and Access Controls
- Bypass, disable, defeat, or circumvent authentication, access control, rate limiting, CAPTCHA, content filtering, moderation tools, or any other security or integrity measure.
- Access accounts or content that is not your own without authorization.
- Probe, scan, stress-test, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system without prior written consent from us as part of an authorized research engagement.
- Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or making up the Service, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.
1.3 Malware and Harmful Code
- Upload, transmit, or link to viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, cryptominers, keyloggers, exploit code, or any other malicious, destructive, or surveillance software.
- Link to or promote content that exists primarily to compromise others' systems or credentials.
1.4 Denial-of-Service and Abuse
- Engage in or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, traffic floods, or any activity that unreasonably burdens our infrastructure or interferes with other users' access.
- Make an unreasonable number of requests in a short period (including "scripted" clicks on likes, follows, reports, or searches).
- Create excessive accounts, including by using disposable email domains, burner numbers, or identity-verification bypass services.
1.5 Manipulation of Identity and Authentication
- Register with false information, including a date of birth that is not yours.
- Maintain multiple accounts without our permission, or operate an account on behalf of someone else without disclosure.
- Evade a suspension, ban, or other restriction placed on you.
- Transfer, sell, rent, lease, or lend your account to anyone else.
- Share your credentials with anyone else.
1.6 Integrity Abuse
- Interfere with the integrity of ratings, reviews, trust scores, rankings, discovery, or moderation.
- Review bombing, coordinated rating manipulation, sock-puppet reviews, and paid engagement without disclosure (see also the Community Guidelines §5.2 and §7).
- Submit false moderation reports, counter-notices, or appeals.
1.7 Intellectual Property and Privacy
- Upload, post, or link to content in violation of another person's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Publish another person's private information (doxxing) without their consent.
- Use the Service to enable surveillance or stalking of any person.
1.8 Commercial Misuse
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications ("spam") or mass-unsolicited messages.
- Post affiliate, sponsored, or paid-promotional content without a clear disclosure in the content itself.
- Use the Service to aggregate, resell, or repackage our content, game metadata, or user content for commercial purposes without permission.
- Use the Service for any pyramid, chain-letter, or multi-level-marketing scheme.
1.9 Illegal and Harmful Purposes
- Use the Service to plan, promote, or carry out any illegal activity.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person, on- or off-platform.
2. Authorized Security Research
We welcome responsible disclosure of security issues. If you believe you have found a vulnerability:
- Do not extract data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue, modify or delete data that is not your own, disrupt the Service, or publicly disclose until we have had a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
- Send a concise report to
legal@glogged.comincluding steps to reproduce, the potential impact, and any proof-of-concept code. - We do not currently operate a paid bug-bounty program. We will acknowledge good-faith researchers and, where possible, credit them.
We will not pursue legal action against researchers acting in good faith under this section.
3. Rate Limits
To keep the Service reliable and resistant to abuse, we apply rate limits to common actions, including:
- Account creation and sign-in attempts
- Content creation (reviews, journal entries, lists, comments, custom-game submissions)
- Engagement actions (likes, follows, reports)
- Search and read operations
Limits vary by action and may be applied per IP address, per account, or both. Exceeding a limit may trigger throttling, a CAPTCHA challenge, temporary blocking, or — for persistent or evasive patterns — account action. Specific thresholds are not published; they are tuned to balance legitimate use against abuse and may be adjusted at any time.
4. API Access
We do not currently offer a public API. If we introduce one, use will be governed by separate API Terms. Until then, programmatic access is not permitted except as explicitly authorized by us in writing.
5. Content Specifically
Content-related prohibitions (hate speech, harassment, spam, spoilers, CSAM, etc.) are in the Community Guidelines. They apply to all content you submit or link to, without limitation.
6. Reservation of Rights
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP using technical measures, including reviewing logs, engagement patterns, and IP metadata. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, or take any other action allowed by law, without notice. We may cooperate with law enforcement and rights-holders, and may preserve information in response to lawful process.
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance per the Terms of Service.
7. Reporting Abuse
To report violations of this AUP (separate from Community Guidelines content reports):
